 Fostering Cats or Kittens

As a small home-based rescue, the number of cats and kittens we can help is directly linked to having foster homes to help care for them! Fostering cats is rewarding, and knowing you’re helping kitties along the way to their forever home will warm your heart.

To foster, you just need to love cats; have a separate room to keep them in (at least to start) such as a spare room, office, or large bathroom; and have a little time each day to dedicate to giving them attention! We do require all potential foster homes to submit a modified application, linked below, to determine the best possible foster match. Applications may take time to review pending foster need.

We provide supplies, including litter, food, and toys when available. Some fosters choose to provide their own supplies in the form of a donation towards the kitties, and we greatly appreciate that when people are able! All medical care is covered by the rescue, you just have to be able to get kitties to appointments in Auburn or Millbury!

We are always looking for fosters! In particular, we are always looking for fosters for adult cats with varying levels of socialization, pairs of adults who have been uprooted from their homes, feral cats with kittens, and semi-social/friendly cats with kittens.

Donations

As a small private rescue, we do not get any outside funding—we rely entirely on donations! Vet bills and supply costs far exceed what we receive in adoption fees (especially as we do TNR frequently, which results in no adoption fee but a very happy feral returned to their home outdoors!).
